Time is relative!

Welcome to my world clocks, see the time and day diferences around the world. (Some of this is experimental so there may still be a few problems.)
Please feel free to have a look at the code though. There's even more clocks here.

First there's your local time clock then there's a grid of clocks showing the different time from cities around the world. (Note this doesn't adjust for daylight savings time yet:- coming soon.) You can click on a clock to see where in the world the city and its timezone is located. To see all the time zones in one map click here

Just remember: it's the same moment throughout the world. For example, when you compare London's time and Sydney's time Sydney is not 10 hours in the future, it is simply that Sydney's clocks run 10 hours fast compared to those in Londons. To explain this you have to remember that the Earth is a ball and Sydney is on almost the opposite side of this to London. Therefore Syndey looks out in the opposite direction to London - when Syndey is facing the Sun (day time) London is looking out towards the stars (night time) and vice-versa.
